Rev. Dr. Scott Pickering is a recognized leader, teacher, and pastor throughout and beyond the North Georgia Conference. Since 1998, he has served as pastor at five churches before arriving at St. John UMC Atlanta in 2022: Mt. Pleasant UMC (Calhoun), Clarkdale UMC, Hopewell UMC (Tyrone), County Line UMC (Acworth), and Cornerstone UMC (Newnan).
